How to print from the iPad

I use my iPad for work and constantly use Keynote, Pages, and Numbers but I haven't found an easy way to print from the iPad. I'm looking for an iPad app that can print to my home and office printer without spending hours on setup.

The Print Magic app can print web pages, text, and images without installing additional software. The printer must be on the wifi network to work. Print Magic works with most of the brand name printers (HP, Epson, Brother, Canon) and can print from most apps. Be aware that Print Magic doesn't natively support printing PDF files, you have to get the extra 'pdf add-on' option for $1.99 to print pdfs. That being said, this app is perfect for anyone who wants easy printing without the bells and whistles.

I use PrinterShare Premium. I installed the app and it immediately detected my Canon Pixma printer connected to my wifi. With the hard part out of the way, I was able to easily print photos from my library, my personal contacts, web pages, and anything I pasted into a blank doc. Dead simple app that worked effortlessly.

I really like ePrint. It's a simple & cheap printing app that can print web pages, photos, and most importantly, PDF files! It's far from being a full-featured printing app, as it doesn’t allow your to print directly from your other apps. But the pdf option alone is worth it to me.

If you have a photo printer, then a lot of the printer brands have their own official photo printing apps (HP, Epson, and Brother) that print via wifi. You can then print out gorgeous borderless photos straight from your iPad's photo library.

Check out Print n Share, it handles printing very well once it's set up. Depending on the printer you have, you can print to any printer connected to the wifi or you can install software on your computer and print via 3G remotely. You can print pretty much anything: photos, pdfs, web pages, etc. It supports most printers, but double check just in case before buying it!

There's a printing app called PrintCentral, which will let you print anything from basically anywhere. You can print wirelessly from your iPad to any printer that’s connected to your computer (many people don't realize this). It works with WiFi, bluetooth, and USB printers. You can also do more than just print from your iPad. You can mount your iPad as an external hard drive, view documents from your iPad that are stored on your home computer, sent by email, or stored virtually on the web. You can print directly from certain apps, such as printing web pages from Safari, printing maps from Google Maps, SMS text messages, or any of your contacts.
