iPad games without wifi?

Angry Birds, the greatest game of all time, thankfully works offline, thank you! If you haven't played it, you should try it, it's so much fun.

Chillingo makes great games and they all work without internet. They're the guys behind fun games like Cut the Rope, Defender Chronicles, iBomber, Civilzations Wars, and the one and only Angry Birds! You can find all their games in the app store here.

If you like FarmVille, you might like Farm Frenzy 2 or Hotel Mogul, but they're both games you play solo. They play fine without internet, as you can see below.

One of my absolute favorite iPad games, Monopoly, works great without internet connection AND supports multiple players, so you can pass it around the car on long road trips. It's perfect for passing the time and the game itself is so much fun. All of the pieces are fully animated and is much more engaging than the standard board game.

All of the Mobilityware games (Solitaire, Word Warp Extreme, FreeCell, BlackJack) all work great without internet, I play them all the time on the train to work...

All of the puzzle and trivia games should work offline.

Both the SimCity and Fruit Ninja apps both work without wifi/internet and they're really fun games. Fruit Ninja lets you play with multiple players in arcade mode.

Also, the Glee karaoke game works offline using the songs that are already downloaded or in your iPod library.
